Tòhe-vo-lu-tion is an event hosted and curated by RMIT University Vietnam and Current RMIT Media Hanoi, as part of UNESCO-initiated Vietnam Festival of Media & Design: Hanoi 2019.

Inspired by the forgotten art of tò he (traditional Vietnamese figurine sticks made with glutinuous rice) as the medium of the ever-changing nature of creativity, the exhibition aimed to celebrate Hanoi’s art scene, where traditions and contemporary approaches harmoniously co-exist and blend together. The event aimed to inspire the participants in exploring craftsmanship, and relive their childhood memories of playing with this traditional toy.
